Well, we have not posted in a while. Sometimes I wonder why. The reality is we have not done enough together lately, since the Meridian City Hall Show. I guess, we needed a hiatus. But now that summer is dead, and fall has risen, I hope we be able to post more stuff. Today’s post covers three of our painters — enjoy.

“Husband O’ Bernice”, WIP, 16×12 oil on canvas, by Ellen Garrard, 19oct09.
Ellen is now going to focus on portraits, instead of landscapes. We are encouraging her in this because we noticed that she models wildlife and figures very well. Besides, her friend Lauri Asahara likes to paint portraits as well, so now we have a pair of figure painters. What do you all think?

“Eagle Creek Cliffs”, 16×12 oil on canvas, by Kevin Hughes, 19oct09.
Kevin has just returned from a trip to the Oregon coast, so he is hoping to do some Oregon landscapes this month. Fred Choate has done a few paintings using this motif as well.

“Dusk at Cape Disapointment”, 11×14 oil on canvas, by Rog Lyngaas, 19oct09.
Enjoy.
