“Winter Creek, near Pine, Idaho”, WIP, PA oil on linen board, by Craig Arrowood, 2mar10.

“McCall Sunrise”, WIP, oil by Ann Samuelson, 2mar10.

“Rising From Idaho Winter”, 20×16 oil on canvas, by Rog Lyngaas, 2mar10.

“Tuscany in California”, WIP, oil by Tony Tramp, 2mar10.

“Pow Wow Dancer”, WIP, oil by Ellen Garrard, 2mar10.
Actually, Ellen worked on three works today. She is becoming more prolific since she is now building her own studio, with her family’s help. We all think this is a great step for her. The other two works follow.

“Rooster”, WIP, oil by Ellen Garrard, 2mar10.

“Drinking In of Refuges”, WIP, oil by Ellen Garrard, started 2mar10.
On this last painting, I would like to note that the thought behind this painting, according to Ellen, is about Boise’s role with refuges around the world. We seem to be drinking them in. This is a good thing, because now the capital of Idaho is becoming more and more, a multi-faceted culture.
